Ewelina, hailing originally from Poland, uncovered her true passion when she settled in the UK in 2015. With a remarkable career spanning over 14 years, she has firmly established herself as an accomplished Event Manager, showcasing her proficiency in various facets of the industry, including hospitality, fine dining, and private parties. In 2016, she made a significant leap into the world of Tech, taking on the role of Site Event Team Lead for Meta’s Community, Culture, and Engagement Team.
Ewelina’s contributions extend far beyond her daily responsibilities. She holds a pivotal role in the Women@ EMEA steering committee, actively shaping strategies, championing the cause, and fostering engagement within the Meta Resource Group (MRG). Her influence reaches even further, as she generously offers support, guidance, and resources to the Women@ chapter teams. Moreover, Ewelina is an engaged member of the Global Community Leader Advisory Committee (GCLAC), collaborating closely with Meta’s Internal Community team to ensure the voices and needs of community leaders are heard, and providing advice on the development of impactful programs.
In her capacity as the leader of the Event Pillar for the Global Hackathon Board of Directors, Ewelina plays a central role in a team of eight individuals responsible for orchestrating hackathons worldwide. Her outstanding event management skills shine through in her exceptional organizational prowess, meticulous attention to detail, imaginative creativity, and knack for conceptual design.
Ewelina’s infectious enthusiasm and unwavering commitment to excellence have earned her a well-deserved reputation as an exceptional event planner. Her remarkable achievements were duly acknowledged when she received the prestigious Event Planner of the Year 2022 award at the renowned Miss Jones Awards in the UK.
