After hitting burnout in a high powered NHS job, Celia dedicated her time to studying stress and applied her learning in transforming a rundown farm into a sustainable venue focused on wellbeing – The Wellbeing Farm.

This passion project saw her nearly bankrupt, but inspiration came when she put a bow tie on a llama and she transformed the venue into a multi award-winning wedding and events venue that attracts couples from miles around.

During lockdown, she created ‘Wellbeing Corporate’ and submitted her application to become one of the first BCorp hospitality venues in the UK. The Wellbeing Farm became one of the first independent events venues in the UK and the first wedding venue in the world to become B Corp Certified with a score of 96.7.

Celia is an Ambassador for the Burnt Chef Project which focuses on wellbeing in hospitality and  her story was published in a book ‘Why Put a Bow Tie on a Llama?’ which recently reached the national final of the Business Book Awards  her story being listed alongside the founders of Just Eat, the Trunki, Pictionary and the scrunchie!
