At independent event sustainability body isla, Alex Camacho seeks to enable more rapid and meaningful transformation across the events sector through a growth in knowledge, skills, engagement and collaboration, both within and beyond a membership of 170 event organisations.
After 10 years of working in live events and content strategy in the music industry, Alex completed an MSc in Sustainability Science, Policy and Society at Maastricht University where his thesis explored transformative capacity development in the European music festival network. Outside of isla, Alex also works as a Senior Sustainability Assessor for A Greener Future.
