ISO Standards and Event Sustainability

The session will introduce event organisers and professionals to the benefits of reduced risk, continual improvement and sustainability benefits from the implementation and maintenance of ISO standards within their organisations. The presentation will focus on ISO20121:2012, the international standard for sustainable event management and will also reference other relevant management system standards such as ISO45001 (health and safety), ISO45003 (wellbeing) ISO27001 (information security) that organisations can gain benefit from implementing.
The session will include practical examples of quick wins, real life case studies and shared knowledge and experience gained from over 10 years of conducting audits of event organisers and event venues.
